Why do men hate leopard print? My favourite leopard items on the high street

One of the first pictures I posted on my Instagram account was a photo of my (gorgeous, if I do say so myself) leopard print flatforms from Dune. These shoes were, and still are, the pair of my shoes my boyfriend hates the most.
I’m not sure what it is that makes him not like leopard print. Maybe it’s a bit too 1990’s Spice Girls-esque? Do I look like I’m a child dressing up? Is it tacky?
Since the purchase of those lil beauties a couple of years ago, I didn’t really buy much else leopard print until recently when I’ve become completely obsessed  – and oh boy, is the high street enabling my addiction!

This New Look tea dress is £22.99 and looks more expensive than that in my opinion! True to size and a great length, this will also be useful in the winter with a pair of black tights, a leather jacket and chunky ankle boots. Buy it here.

I was completely lusting after this Zara number recently but it’s too similar to one I already have (check it out here).  This has an adjustable waist and nails that midi trend. £29.99. Buy it here.

This New Look shirt dress is so versatile. I’m going to wear it with flat espadrilles to the office, and then with black block heels out for dinner! Pretty sure it’d look good with a pair of tights in the winter too, or undone with a black tee underneath and black jeans. £24.99, buy it here.

Red Leopard print has also come into fashion lately and I’m totally ok with it. New Look have some great pieces (including this cami, this bikini and this wrap dress), but this culotte jumpsuit is one of my faves. £22.99, buy it here!

I love a jumpsuit. This feels like it’s good quality and would be perfect for a night out with black heels, and equally as cool during the day with a pair of black trainers or chunky sandals (like these from &otherstories). Buy the jumpsuit here.

This leopard shirt is the same material as the tea dress . I absolutely love it, but feel I can’t pull it off and just look like I’m in my pyjamas! I’ve seen the likes of @londonstylesisters and Fran @thefashion_lift looking absolutely chic in similar styles so I’m hoping you lovely lot will look like them and not like me in this! It’s £19.99 from New Look and tbh I think it looks more expensive than that. Buy it here.

Double leopard? Yes please. This jacket would be gorg with a simple black blouse and black jeans, too. Pick it up from Topshop for £45.

I hope you’ll love these lil leopard numbers as much as I do, and you’ll wear them regardless of whether your boyfriend/partner/family/friends hate them – as long as you love what you’re wearing, that’s all that counts.

I use some affiliate links in my posts. This basically helps to cover the cost of hosting my blog (not the cheapest of hobbies)! These don’t make the cost of your purchase any more expensive but means the brand will give me a little (I mean little) bit of commission if you buy using the links on my site. You’re of course welcome to not use them!
